Is it true that Greenwood Neighbors supports the re-zone of 837 Cleveland from RS5 to RS15, BL 2009-429, up for public hearing tomorrow night at 6 p.m.? If so, why?

If not, please inform Mr. Blackwood that he should not be using the Greenwood Neighborhood Association's name to press his claims with the Metro Council.

I believe that sanctioning Mr. Blackwood's illegal use of the property is the wrong move at this time--when neighborhoods are trying to make quality of life better, not worse by cramming who knows how many people into the building. How about a nice produce market or independent business? We should say no to building and renovations that don't carry the proper zoning or permits.

The Greenwood Neighorhood Association wrote a letter of support for Mr. Blackwood with out consulting the neighbors. Many neighbors do not support Mr. Blackwood and many neighbors had no idea untill the signs went up. There have been petitions signed, neighbors in environmental court, and tomorrow we will be at Council. Please come. Wear a red T-shirt and support your neighbors.
